SEATTLE - Rebuilding is painful. The last 72 hours with the Rangers have been particularly agonizing.
And there are still two days to go on a week-long road trip that has yet to produce a win.
On Friday, the Rangers suffered their second walkoff loss in the last three days, falling to Seattle 5-4 in 11 innings when the winning run scored on, of all things, what should have been an inning-ending double play.
Let me repeat that: The Rangers lost while trying to complete a double play with the bases loaded. Logan Forsythe, a second baseman by nature, who was making his first start of the season at third base, fielded the hard-hit ball cleanly, then stumbled trying to get the ball out of his glove.
