ARLINGTON -- Chris Martin's back wasn't too much of a concern for the Atlanta Braves.
On Tuesday, two days after the Rangers held Martin out of an outing at Oakland due to lower back stiffness, he was sent to Atlanta for left-hander Kolby Allard. Allard, ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the Atlanta system by MLB Pipeline, will go to Triple-A Nashville to join the Sounds' rotation. Allard had been 7-5 with a 4.17 ERA at Triple-A Gwinnett.
Martin can also be a free agent after the season & possibility exists the Arlington native could sign right back here.
