ARLINGTON -- The Rangers are going to give third baseman Adrian Beltre a couple of days to see how he responds to treatment before deciding if he should go on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring.
Beltre was not in the lineup on Tuesday after undergoing an MRI, and Texas is off on Wednesday. They open a four-game series with the Angels on Thursday.
"Essentially, he reaggravated it," Rangers manager Jeff Banister said. "He is not in the lineup today, we're off tomorrow, we'll re-evaluate it Thursday.
