Rangers set to activate Hamilton on Tuesday

Tuesday is the first day that rosters can be expanded to up to 40 players. The Rangers may call up other players later in the month as needed or once Triple-A Round Rock is done with Pacific Coast League playoffs.

Hamilton has not played since Aug. 15 because of a sore left knee. It's unlikely that Hamilton will be ready to play left field, but he could be used as a pinch-hitter.

Corporan has been sidelined since July 13 with a bruised left thumb and will likely be used as the third catcher behind Chris Gimenez and Bobby Wilson.
