The Texas Rangers have used their second round draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, #65 overall, to select University of Tennessee outfielder Dylan Dreiling.
I wrote up Dreiling earlier today — he was the final player I wrote up as part of our draft previews.
Dylan Dreiling is a 5’11”, 197 lb. lefthanded hitting and throwing outfielder for the University of Tennessee. He is a draft-eligible sophomore who was ranked #336 on the Baseball America top 500 list when he came out of high school in Kansas in 2022, but injured his hamstring early in his senior season and went undrafted.
