Rangers Recap: Texas Falls In Extras To Chicago

The Texas Rangers handed the ball to Colby Lewis Saturday afternoon as they searched to even up the series against the Chicago White Sox. Lewis put out a more than quality start going 6 innings against Chicago giving up just one run on six hits. Lewis struck out three and walked four in the outing but did his job by putting the Rangers in a place to win the game.

Out of the bullpen numerous pitchers came in for relief. Tony Barnette, Sam Dyson, Tom Wilhelmsen, Phil Klein and Nick Martinez all pitched. Sam Dyson recorded his first blown save of the season giving up two runs on three hits in the eighth inning.
