ARLINGTON -- The Rangers optioned infielder Hanser Alberto to Triple-A Round Rock and recalled right-hander Tom Wilhelmsen before Saturday's game against the Rangers.
Alberto made the Opening Day Roster and has batted .162 in 37 at-bats and 24 games this season.
Wilhelmsen made the Opening Day team as well, but was optioned to Round Rock on May 16.
He has a 9.98 ERA through 15 1/3 innings so far this season.
