ARLINGTON -- The Rangers recalled right-hander Matt Bush from Triple-A Round Rock and designated righty Kevin Jepsen for assignment before Monday night's game against the Yankees.
Infielder/outfielder Drew Robinson was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Round Rock.
Jepsen has a 0-3 record with a 5.94 ERA (11 earned runs in 16 2/3 innings) in 21 relief appearances for the Rangers this season. When a player's contract is designated for assignment -- often abbreviated "DFA" -- that player is immediately removed from his club's 40-man roster, and 25-man roster if he was on that as well.
