ARLINGTON -- Third baseman Adrian Beltre walked off the field at Globe Life Park -- possibly for the last time -- in the top of the sixth inning during the Rangers' 6-1 victory over Mariners on Sunday afternoon.
He was accorded a standing ovation. Beltre started the game at third base and was hitless in his first two at-bats. Starter Martin Perez held the Mariners to one run through four innings and the Rangers rallied with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead.
After the fifth inning was over, the Rangers played a video tribute on the scoreboard as Beltre took his position at third base.
