Baseball Prospectus has released their top 101 prospect list for 2024, and the Texas Rangers have a pretty good showing.
The highest ranked Ranger is outfielder Wyatt Langford. Selected fourth overall in the 2023 MLB Draft out of the University of Florida, Langford is the #2 prospect on the BP list, trailing only Baltimore Orioles shortstop Jackson Holliday. In 44 games across four levels, Langford slashed .360/.480/.677 as a pro, with 36 walks against 34 Ks, and was 12 for 15 stealing bases, to boot.
Close behind Langford is outfielder Evan Carter, who is #4 on the list, between Rays infielder Junio Caminero and Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews.
