Rangers juggling of starting rotation might mean Mike Minor trade is forthcoming

OAKLAND, Calif. - Mike Minor may have pitched his last game for the Rangers.

The Rangers on Saturday decided to push Minor's next scheduled start back a day. The significance is that it goes from Tuesday to Wednesday against Seattle. That game starts four hours after the trade deadline passes.

The Rangers will start rookie Ariel Jurado on Tuesday against Seattle in what would have typically been Minor's spot. Manager Chris Woodward acknowledged the move was being made to avoid any last-minute shuffling in the event that Minor is traded.

"He's getting a lot of publicity for possibly being traded and it creates a bit of an issue with Tuesday's start," Woodward said.
