NEW YORK - Joey Gallo is in just his second full season in the majors. It is too early for him to be establishing career trends.
And yet ... he sure looks like a guy who excels in the second half.
He arrived at Yankee Stadium Thursday, where the Rangers lost 7-3 to New York, 11th in the American League in OPS (1.143) since the All-Star break. A lot of that is due to the nine homers Gallo has hit since the break. It's the second consecutive year he's gone into the break like a lamb and returned like a lion.
