Rangers infielder Danny Santana has left tonight’s game with left hamstring tightness

Texas Rangers infielder (and tonight’s starting third baseman) Danny Santana left tonight’s game with left hamstring tightness. He was replaced by Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

The Rangers had called up Scott Heineman earlier today, giving them a four man bench, but with the loss of Santana and Nomar Mazara, who left earlier tonight with left oblique soreness, the Rangers appear to be short handed again.

The only position players on the 40 man roster who are in the minors right now are Zack Granite and Ronald Guzman, and I’m not sure either is a likely candidate to be called up if Mazara and/or Santana go on the injured list prior to tomorrow’s doubleheader.
