Rangers' bats quieted in finale vs. Yankees

NEW YORK -- Rangers starter Martin Perez was able to hold his own against Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia for four innings on Sunday afternoon.

Then it all changed in the fifth, when the Yankees scored five runs off Perez and went on to a 7-2 victory at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees ended up taking three of four in the weekend series.

The Rangers managed just one hit in six innings off Sabathia, and that came in the second inning, when Joey Gallo beat out a roller in front of home plate.
