ARLINGTON -- The curious case of Yu Darvish's last start has finally gained some clarity.
Darvish will return to the mound Sunday against Kansas City, his first start since he left the Rangers shaking their heads after a 4-2 loss Tuesday at Oakland.
Darvish faced the minimum through five innings against the Athletics. The Rangers then scored two runs in the sixth to take the lead. And Darvish went south quickly in the bottom of the inning, recording only one out.
Out of nowhere, Darvish just lost his control, falling behind hitters and eventually giving up a game-tying home run to Adam Rosales.
