ANAHEIM -- The Rangers have activated outfielder Carlos Tocci off the disabled list and optioned infielder Hanser Alberto to Triple-A Round Rock.
Tocci is a Rule 5 Draft pick from the Phillies who has been on the disabled list since April 22 with a bruised left hip. He was just 4-for-24 in seven games with Round Rock on medical rehabilitation assignment, but he began the assignment going 7-for-22 at Double-A Frisco.
Tocci was 2-for-25 in 11 games for the Rangers before going on the disabled list.
