The Texas Rangers announced this afternoon that the club has activated second baseman Rougned Odor from the 10-day disabled list. To make room on the active roster for Odor, the team has designated infielder/outfielder Renato Nunez for assignment.
Odor was on the 10-day disabled list from April 10-May 10 with a left hamstring strain suffered in the first inning of his last game with Texas on April 9 against the Los Angeles Angels. He played 5 games with Double-A Frisco (2) and Triple-A Round Rock (3) on injury rehabilitation assignment, going 3-for-17 with a double and 2 RBI.
