Glasnow, who has a 4.70 ERA over 38 1/3 innings since being acquired by the Rays, looks for his first win with the club. It will be his first career appearance at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
Sampson will be making his second career start for the Rangers after going 8-4 with a 3.77 ERA in 19 starts and 14 relief appearances for Triple-A Round Rock. In his first start, he allowed one earned run over five innings against the Angels.
