Randy Galloway has announced his retirement, two years after he originally retired from the FWST
Randy Galloway has announced his retirement, again, from the Fort Worth Star Telegram. Galloway originally retired two years ago, but continued to write Sunday columns. It sounds like this time, though, Galloway is retiring for real.
He was, of course, one of the original Rangers beat reporters before moving into doing columns and, later, radio work. In recent years, he has had extremely critical things to say about current Ranger management and ownership, due in no small part to the fact that Nolan Ryan, who Galloway has been a long-time proponent of, opted to leave rather than stay in a figurehead role with the organization.
