Tyler Phillips took the mound for Frisco tonight, and while he made it through the first three innings without allowing any runs, he was touched up for 3 runs in the 4th, and 4 runs in the 5th before being lifted with two outs in the inning. He didn’t walk anyone, but struck out just 2 while allowing 10 hits, including a home run. Offensively, Leody Taveras had a double, and Charles Leblanc and Andretty Cordero each had a single and a home run.
John King started for Down East, and also gave up a bunch of hits, though with better luck in regards to allowing runs.
