HOUSTON -- Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor circled the bases with his first career inside-the-park home run in the fifth inning on Saturday night. The home run came off Astros pitcher Justin Verlander and gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead.
Odor hit a shot to deep right-center where the fence angles between the Astros' bullpen and the Lexus Field club in straightaway center. Center fielder George Springer tried to make a leaping catch and missed.
The ball caromed, not back toward the infield, but sharply toward dead center along the warning track where it was retrieved by left fielder Kyle Tucker.
