Texas Rangers transactions: Nomar Mazara has been activated from the 10 day disabled list, the Rangers announced today. To make room for Mazara, the Rangers have optioned Willie Calhoun to AAA Round Rock.
I think this was the move that we expected the team to make to clear a spot for Mazara — with Nomar back, he will be playing right field most of the time, Joey Gallo will be in left field, Shin-Soo Choo will be at DH, and Ronald Guzman will be at first base.
