The last time the Rangers and Astros met, the series began with a couple of hit batters, a brushback pitch, the benches emptying and some excitement to the kick off to the AL West race.
A month later, the teams convene again with two questions lingering:
Is there an underlying issue between the clubs to be settled?
And, perhaps more importantly, is there still an AL West race to be decided?
To the first question: It's anybody's guess, depending on how you interpret the "unwritten rules," of the game. To the second: Probably not. The Astros arrive in Arlington with the best record in baseball and a 12-game lead on the two-time defending AL West champion Rangers.
