MLB Rumors: The Texas Rangers are in on Lance Lynn and Charlie Morton, according to T.R. Sullivan, while J.A. Happ is apparently off the board now. Happ has, per multiple reports, agreed to a three year deal with the New York Yankees.
The Rangers are, by multiple accounts, pursuing pitching in the lower- to middle-range of the free agent market. Lynn and Morton are each veteran righthanders who could end up being snagged for two year deals, though Morton would seem likely to be more expensive than Lynn, and also more likely to get a three year deal.
