After playing six seasons with the Texas Rangers, Mitch Moreland has hit the free-agent market. However, his days in Arlington might not be over just yet.
According to the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant, the Rangers are still maintaining contact with the 31-year-old, and although a deal is "not impossible," it only "becomes likely if Moreland is willing to wait things out."
Beyond his former team, the first baseman is said to be drawing interest from the Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays, Jon Morosi of MLB.
