Down East had Nick Lockhart on the mound for Thursday’s start. Lockhart began the year at Down East, struggled, went to the ACL Rangers in mid-July, had five outings there, and then was sent back to the Ducks, with Thursday being his first outing since his return.
Lockhart allowed three runs in five innings of work on seven hits, including a homer, with one walk and three strikeouts. I think we can call that a successful return for the 20 year old.
