With the 2020 MLB Draft starting later today, Kiley McDaniel has his final mock draft out this morning, and projects the Rangers to take UNC first baseman Aaron Sabato at #14.
So if you are keeping track at home, that is three major prognostications projecting Sabato to the Rangers, as Keith Law and Baseball America both have him going to Texas in their final mocks. Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo, meanwhile, have Texas selecting Patrick Bailey out of North Carolina in their final mock drafts, with Mayo projecting our old friend Thad Levine and the Minnesota Twins to take Sabato at #27 and Callis projecting Sabato to not go in the top 29 picks.
