This week, both Kiley McDaniel of ESPN and Keith Law of the Athletic released their rankings of the farm systems of the 30 MLB teams. McDaniel provided a dollar value for each team’s farm, while Law broke the list into tiers. Each of them, though, had the Rangers’ farm as middle-of-the-pack.
McDaniel has the Rangers with the 16th best farm in MLB, putting a $192 million value on it, putting them in a cluster of teams from Miami at #15 to Pittsburgh at #20 that were valued at $179M to $197M, with at least $10M separating Miami from #14 Baltimore and Pittsburgh from #21 New York of the A.
