The Kansas City Royals have agreed to terms with free agent pitchers Seth Lugo and Chris Stratton, per reports.
We shall start with Stratton, even though he’s going to be the smaller deal, since Stratton was just pitching for the Rangers a couple of months ago. The 33 year old righthander — originally a first round pick of the Giants in 2012 — spent time with several teams before going to the Cardinals at the 2022 trade deadline, along with Jose Quintana. The Cards then sent Stratton to the Rangers, along with Jordan Montgomery, at the 2023 deadline in exchange for T.
