Logan Forsythe and the Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to terms on a minor league deal, per reports. The 33 year old infielder spent the 2019 season with the Texas Rangers.
Forsythe has bounced around — he was originally a supplemental first round pick of the San Diego Padres in the 2008 MLB Draft, and was dealt to Tampa Bay in January, 2014, in a multi-player deal. The Rays sent him to Los Angeles in January, 2017, for pitching prospect Jose DeLeon, and then the Dodgers shipped him to the Minnesota Twins at the 2018 trade deadline in the Brian Dozier deal.
