SEATTLE -- Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis, pitching for Spokane in the short season Class A Northwest League, went five innings and 66 pitches in his third rehab start on Monday afternoon.
Lewis was pitching in Everett, Wash., just north of Seattle, and allowed four runs on eight hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out three.
Lewis has been sidelined since June 21 with a strained muscle in the back of his right shoulder. He was 6-1 with a 3.21 ERA in 15 starts before going on the disabled list.
His next start will likely be at the Major League level, although the Rangers have yet to make that decision.
