Jose Leclerc and the A’s of the region that encompasses Northern California have agreed to terms on a one year, $10 million deal, per reports.
This will be the first time Leclerc has been with a major league organization other than the Texas Rangers, who signed him out of the Dominican Republic in December of 2010. The 31 year old Leclerc first pitched in the majors for the Rangers in 2016, and has spent at least part of every year since then in the big leagues with Texas, other than 2021, when he missed the season due to Tommy John surgery.
