As I noted in February in my initial read of the top talent in this year's draft class, it's just not a good class this year, neither at the top nor in terms of depth, with a particular paucity of college pitchers but some modest strength in the middle infield, both in high schools and college. I still think the No. 1 pick today would be clear and that the college bats listed below will all settle into the top 20 or so as most teams gravitate toward the perceived safety of that group.
