Wyatt Langford will be out for 3-4 weeks after an MRI revealed a hamstring strain more serious than initially anticipated, Bruce Bochy announced after Sunday’s 3-2 win against the Kansas City Royals. The Rangers will make a move prior to Monday’s game in Oakland against the A’s.
Langford pulled up lame while trying to beat out an infield single in the fifth inning of Saturday’s game against the Royals. Langford, the fourth overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, made the team out of spring training and was thought to be a potential Rookie of the Year contender.
