Yusei Kikuchi and the Anaheim Angels have agreed to terms on a three year deal worth $63 million, per reports.
Kikuchi is an interesting case, as the lefthander, who turns 34 in June, has generally oscillated between okay and not good in his major league career. The Houston Astros acquired him at the trade deadline last summer, however, and Kikuchi pitched much better for him than he had for Seattle (his original team) or the Blue Jays (the team he signed with as a free agent after the 2021 season). Kikuchi put up a 2.70 ERA, 3.
