SURPRISE, Ariz. - After a rushed 24-hour trip to Houston to have his perpetually-achy left knee examined, prodded and poked, Josh Hamilton returned to Rangers camp Thursday still intent on making the opening day roster.
Hamilton saw surgeon Dr. Walt Lowe, who did his ACL reconstruction last June, underwent an MRI and received a Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection to help a spot of irritation on the outside of his left knee. The ACL repair, however, is sound, Hamilton said.
And that leaves him still thinking that he will play for the Rangers this season.
