Josh Hamilton has been arrested, with the former Texas Rangers outfielder being booked Wednesday on felony injury to a child charges, per the Dallas Morning News. The DMN also says that Hamilton was the subject of a request for a protective order sought by his ex-wife, Katie Hamilton, earlier this month. For a protective order to be granted (and there is no word yet on whether it has been granted), there must be a finding that family violence has occurred in the past, and will likely occur in the future if a protective order is not granted.
