It feels like I’m writing about John King all the time, but that is mainly because he keeps going out and doing work. In his third start for Down East, King threw 4 shutout innings before allowing 3 runs in the fifth, though Josh Norris of BA said on Twitter that the runs scored due to a mid-play at second base and a two out fly ball that was lost in the sun and went for a double — if either play is made, he gets out of the 5th unscored upon. Norris also said King got 17 swings and misses through 4 innings.
