Texas Rangers 2018 first round pick Cole Winn pitched for the Hickory Crawdads last night, and fortunately for us, John Calvagno of “Notes from the Sally League” website was there to write it up.
As you know from yesterday’s minor league recap post, the 19 year old righthander went just two innings, striking out the side in the first before running into trouble in the second and getting pulled. Calvagno goes more in depth on the outing, offering up praise for his stuff while noting the improvements he needs to make, and sharing some video.
