FRISCO -- She woke up nauseous Thursday.
It had already been an eventful week in an eventful year for Amanda Soltero and her fiancée, Rangers reliever Jake Diekman. On Monday, she announced a new online clothing company, Madida, and started showing at a Las Vegas merchandise mart. On Wednesday, the couple announced the formation of the Gut It Out Foundation to benefit research and education about inflammatory bowel disease.
And Thursday, she planned to fly from Vegas back to Dallas in time to watch Diekman return to a game for the first time in 10 months and with a wholly reconstructed lower digestive system.
