PEORIA, Ariz. -- On Thursday morning, Rougned Odor bounded into the Rangers' clubhouse looking for Shin-Soo Choo, who is always in the clubhouse ahead of his teammates and who has become something of a secondary hitting coach for some of the younger left-handed hitters.
Odor wanted Choo to watch video of the opposite-field home run he crushed a day earlier. Choo watched and patted him on the back.
"He wanted to talk about the home run," Choo said. "But what I really wanted to talk about was the whole at-bat."
Choo's point: It wasn't just the home run that made the at-bat successful.
