NASHVILLE - The first time Chris Woodward came to Nashville, he looked out at left field, saw the iconic at giant guitar scoreboard at Greer Stadium and asked if you got a guitar for hitting the thing with a home run.
The answer: Well, Woodward still has the Copley acoustic model to prove he did.
Got all his teammates on the 2008 Nashville Sounds to autograph it, too. Can't play it. Well, maybe a couple of chords. But he still holds on to it.
He was telling this story Sunday before the Rangers' visit to their new Triple-A affiliate for an exhibition against minor leaguers that was delayed 45 minutes by passing showers.
