The high temperatures out at Globe Life Park have affected everyone this week, including the Swiss Army knife of the Texas Rangers - Isiah Kiner-Falefa.
"I slept great," said the utility infielder after being the behind the plate against the Cleveland Indians during Sunday afternoon's win. "I was tired. So, it felt good."
The game-time temperature for Sunday's 2:08 p.m. start was a brisk 102 degrees. By the sixth inning, the temperature had risen to 108. But that didn't stop Kiner-Falefa from recording his second career shutout as a major league catcher.
