The Texas Rangers were dealt an extra blow after dropping a second straight game to the Los Angeles Angels. Starting first baseman, Ronald Guzman, had to exit Saturday’s game with a right hamstring injury after legging out a double. Guzman had an MRI and was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Hamstring Sprain and now has been placed on the 10-Day Injured List.
Who Steps In?
To correspond with the IL move, the Rangers have called up Patrick Wisdom from Triple-A Nashville to fill the void. Wisdom was acquired by Texas this past offseason from the Cardinals in exchange for utility-man Drew Robinson.
