How one moment Tuesday night summed up a season's worth of frustration for Rangers SS Elvis Andrus

ARLINGTON - In the sixth inning on Tuesday night, Elvis Andrus smoked a slider from Tampa Bay reliever Chaz Roe down the third-base line. It seemed like a hard-hit double into the left-field corner.

It became an inning-ending double play, part of a 4-0 loss to the Rays at Globe Life Park. Third baseman Matt Duffy snared the liner and trapped Delino DeShields off first base.

Andrus stood near home plate and looked to the heavens. If one at-bat can describe a frustrating season, this was it.

"It's one of those seasons where everything bad got together," Andrus said.
