HOF Poll: Torii Hunter

Related Topics: Torii Hunter, BBWAA, Terry Steinbach

The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so we are doing polls on the players on the list.

Today is outfielder Torii Hunter.

Torii Hunter was the Minnesota Twins’ first round draft pick in 1993, taken eight picks after the Houston Astros took Billy Wagner. Hunter made his major league debut in 1997, but the entirety of his debut — and his major league experience in 1997 — was pinch running for Terry Steinbach with two outs in the ninth inning of a game that promptly ended when Matt Lawton grounded into a double play.
