The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so are doing polls on the players on the list.
Today is catcher Russell Martin.
Russell Martin was a 17th round draft choice of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002 — he was selected one spot after the ChiSox took Brandon McCarthy — and took over as the regular catcher for the Dodgers in 2006. He spent 11 years as an everyday catcher with the Dodgers, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays, then spent his final three seasons in a part-time role.
