The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so we are doing polls on the players on the list.
Today is reliever Francisco Rodriguez.
Francisco Rodriguez burst onto the scene and into the public consciousness in the 2002 MLB playoffs. Originally signed out of Venezuela by the Anaheim Angels in 1998, K-Rod, as he became known, made his major league debut in mid-September of 2002, and made five major league appearances over the final 11 days of the regular season. All five appearances were in losses, but that wasn’t due to K-Rod, who allowed no runs and struck out 13 of 21 batters faced.
