The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so are doing polls on the players on the list.
Today is reliever Billy Wagner.
Billy Wagner is in his tenth — and final — year on the BBWAA ballot. He was the #12 overall pick in the MLB Draft all the way back in 1993 by the Houston Astros. He was taken two picks after the Cubs selected Brooks Kieschnick, two picks before the Padres selected Derrek Lee, and three picks before the Blue Jays used the pick they got from the Rangers as compensation for the Rangers signing free agent Tom Henke to select Chris Carpenter.
