The Baseball Writers Association of America has released the ballot for the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame voting, so are doing polls on the players on the list.
Today is IF/OF Ben Zobrist.
Ben Zobrist did not have the beginning to his career that you would expect for someone who has ended up on a Hall of Fame ballot. Zobrist was drafted as a 23 year old in the 6th round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros out of Dallas Baptist. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in the summer of 2006 in a deal that brought Aubrey Huff to Houston, and made his major league debut that year for Tampa.
